The Talbot Oundle

Wet Thursday. Drove into town on my break with Lysette, decided to try the cafe in The Talbot for coffee, massive latte came with a complimentary shot glass of maltesers. Chilled on the sofas looking out into this courtyard before exploring THE staircase. The staircase in The Talbot was once in Fotheringhay castle. Mary, Queen Of Scots walked down the staircase to be beheaded, and on the banister is a crown shape where her ring dug in when she tripped. Quite a spooky place, not sure is like to work there on a late shift!
