Blood Orange

Gadgets.
I love 'em.
And generally speaking they are amazing things....when in the right hands.

Amareen (from work) was bemoaning the fact she hates peeling oranges at lunch time today. I agreed that they are a faff, but showed her my little peeling device.
After a quick demo on my own orange, I passed the gizmo to her......and she promptly missed the orange and almost amputated her hand!!!

Needless to say, she went back to the conventional method.
I, on the other hand, removed the bit of her skin from the pointy end and peeled my orange without injury.
