Ready for the Off

Have been steadily working through my holiday to-do list until it 's almost manageable. Even got a couple of cases out the loft a little while ago and started moving the various piles of clothes into their gaping maws. One seems sated, the other is waiting on its breakfast of toiletries and last-minute, almost forgotten sundries.

Had a mad dash around town after work looking for a new automatic feeder for the fish tank. The old one decided to give up the ghost this morning on its pre-holiday test-run. It can hardly have been over-used since it only made an appearance once or twice a year but at least I had time to find a replacement or else it would have been every fish for himself. My money would have been on the shrimps!! Don't have that problem with the goldfish, they get to spend time and a pampering Chez Jacques.

Better get back to that list.....
