Ladybirds on Fencepost

It's getting harder to find interesting insects as the days get shorter and the weather colder. The ladybird on the right gets a consoling cuddle as they both take shelter from a sudden shower of autumnal dampness in a crack in a fencepost. I took this on the Kelly Cut at the Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park in the hills behind Greenock and Inverkip using my Nikon D300s with a 60mm macro lens. It's a focus stack of 7 images.
