Impressionists on the Water

A wonderful exhibit at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco, on a lovely mild autumn day. After the art, we walked about a mile down to China Beach, only to find it closed because of the government shutdown--it is federal land. This was our first experience of this disaster, although we may have to cancel next week's trip to Yosemite if things don't improve soon. These things are easily managed, but my heart goes out to all those folks who suddenly are out of work and have had their lives turned upside down by this bickering.
