It's not taken me long at all to get into the coffee culture of Phnom Penh. After about 29.5 years of not drinking coffee at all (mum note that it's probably because all through my youth I saw you drinking Nescafé instant decaff black using about 10 grains).

Now I am a regular in the coffee shops, usually for a strawberry macaroon frappe but occasionally being bold enough to try a caramel macchiato. It's easy to fill your stamp card in these circumstances.

Nursed a free blueberry smoothie all morning and got some good work done. Only left when the air con became particularly bone chilling. Absolutely my pet hate in Asia.
