The canal at Apsley

We arrived here about 3 this afternoon having left my mum's in Bannockburn at 7 this morning. We had a fairly uneventful journey despite the torrential rain, and were delighted to arrive in Apsley to sunshine and 20 degrees. A really nice afternoon for October - good enough to sit outside at the Paper Mill, the pub where this photo was taken. Looking forward to a long weekend with Hannah, Ed and Stella, and catching up with other friends and family in between times!
