Pampas Grass in The Wind

Took the dogs for a walk today, on the lead, much to their disgust. I tried to explain that we were in overdrive because we had two viewings of the house. I also pointed out that the car was in the garage awaiting a very very expensive repair and that, coupled with the amount of cleaning necessary to get the house into a fit state, meant a boring walk was all that was on offer. Whilst trying to avoid creating a blame culture I couldn't help but point out that they were mainly the reason the house needed such a deep clean and that if they didn't drop their hair everywhere life would be so much easier. They quietly pointed out, with soulful eyes, that it was unlikely that the viewers would be interested. I thought that this was rather spiteful and quickly retaliated by reminding them that they were the only reason we wanted to move in the first place. After all border collies are not city dogs - and they had to agree.
So this was one of the shrubs we came across on the boring, on the lead walk.
