Chillin' in Richmond Park

Due to the rainy start to the day, we decided to postpone our photography trip for a few hours. I'm glad to say the weather forecasters got it spot on, it turned out to be a gloriously warm, sunny afternoon - fleece and waterproof stayed tucked away in the rucksack!

We headed to Richmond Park in London as it's the deer rutting season, when the male stags compete for the females. Unfortunately, on this occasion, we didn't see any deers locking antlers, but we did see a number of Red stags and hinds. The magnificent stag in the photo was chillin' in the grass, however, he kept a watchful eye on me as I moved in to get a closer shot!!
