Roadblocks for Justice

Protests were held in several cities throughout the UK today about the appalling cuts to legal aid which will mean - unless you are able to pay - you will not be able to get help for things such as representation at an employment tribunal, representation in a family law case, assistance and representation with immigration matters and so on and so on.

In London, the demonstration was outside the Old Bailey, and here in Norwich the protest was held outside City Hall. It was noisy yet peaceful and managed to close the road to traffic for a short time. But most importantly it raised awareness. A representative of Suffolk DPAC (Disabled People Against the Cuts) came along and the photo you see here is of two messages from them.

More of my photos from this event can be seen here.
