lilac fluers

I was in danger of not leaving the house today and that gets me in a bad mood. (I don't know how Morv is managing it!) Sam called me on his lunch break, reminded me of what I get like and insisted that I go and do something.

So I headed down the canal (Harrison park east is looking really nice at the moment) and took a walk to Tollcross to pick up a wee extra pressie for our new nephew and wandered round the charity shops.

Also achieved today was a final sanding and oiling of the sideboard. All it needs now is new knobs.

Got a normal Saturday night of takeaway ad Strictly tonight. Looking forward to it. No Bruce tonight as he's got the flu. This is big news apparently.
