Be Who You Are

"She's not my dog, I'm holding her while her owner goes to the lavatory" says man with lead in one hand, roll-up in the other. [Slightly surprising parlance in lieu of the ubiquitous 'toilet'.]

"Her name's Marnie" (the dog I assume), "she's got lovely teeth, very white and sharp."
I wondered if they had anything to do with the sticking plaster on his face.

Number 2 of an occasional series Dogs and their People
