Eastern Spotted Skunk

-seen at the beach park tonight. We painted our living room last weekend, this weekend we're painting our dining room. We decided to take a break and go to the beach before sunset. On the way back to the car, we heard a few of these guys running around in a picnic area, and stopped to investigate. Husband D used the light on his phone so that I could get the camera to focus in the dark :)
when we first moved down here 30 years ago, we used to see these skunks often, then they gradually seemed to disappear. lately, I started hearing about them again- glad that there are still some around, and maybe making a comeback. (there are also Striped Skunks found in Florida)
