A bazaar Dutch treat!

Edward's heritage is Dutch and for many years now we've gone to the Netherlands Bazaar in nearby Thornhill. It's held every other year and raises funds for charity. They have food such as these poffertjes (mini pancakes sprinkled with icing sugar), fish, eel, cheese sandwiches, croquettes, split pea soup, licorice, and many other Dutch treats.

They also have flowers and bulbs from which I got some tulip bulbs and some allium. And art room. Book sale. And white elephant sale (no elephants, just household goods like a boot sale). The market was busy and we stopped for lunch and listen to the band.

It was an enjoyable Saturday and we look forward to the next one in two years time.
