Poppies Galore

The poppies along the Taylor River Banks are getting to be their best now. I never tire of them and photograph them at every opportunity. As single flowers, in small groups and clumps alongside the river or glowing gloriously in great swathes they continue to enchant me.
This image is looking toward part of the Richmond Range to the north. Beyond the fence is the Omaka Aerodrome which has grassed runways and is where folk go in order to learn to fly small planes and to use gliders.
I will very likely be blipping more images of poppies over the next short while…as long as they continue to look their best.
