Balmoral Station

We are in full swing at the Southern Regional Convention in Tekapo, and this afternoon we got the opportunity to go to Balmoral Station, a High Country Station not far from the Tekapo township.

There we got to photograph some sheep shearing, and some mustering.

This is part of the mustering with the snowy mountains (covered in cloud) as a backdrop.

Hot day - but both the Mistress and I, the camera, enjoyed ourselves.

Later we went to The church of the Good Shepherd to take some star shots, but the Mistress woudln't put them up as she doens't think they're any good!
