The Matterhorn of The Peak

The last time I was in this area of The Peak District was when I took my first shot for my blip journal on 6th January this year.

We started at the far end of The Roaches and walked down towards Wincle via the Hanging Stone. We also went to Lud's Church, but didn't walk through as it was incredibly muddy.

We had a pub lunch at The Ship Inn in Wincle and also visited the local microbrewery there too.

Route back was via Gradbach Wood.

Weather was lovely and warm and sunny. A great day out walking.

This is the view of Shutlingsloe as we got back to the car.
