Down by the river

We had a lazy morning and then headed into town to find a blip and have a bite to eat. It has been a glorious day today - a beautiful autumnal clear blue sky kind of day. My friend and I enjoyed walking in the park and exploring the little street market on The Parade. We went down to the river and took some lovely shots of the church. I took this straight into the sun so the colours were a bit dull so I thought it might look better in mono. It has been lovely having my friend to stay. She is a fantastic friend and seeing her has really lifted my spirit.

Now time to settle down for an evening of Strictly and Downton.
