melon dish

I've never asked how he ended up with a stylized set of dishes for the sole purpose of serving melon, but there you are.

It has been broken, the pieces taped together, since I first noticed it during one of the moves. I unwrapped it and carefully put it away, thinking, how fun, must fix that...

And then we moved again, and again. This time when I unpacked it, I didn't put it in the cupboard, and, I confess, asked myself if two people really needed a set of melon serving dishes?

However, while I was away, the Mister repaired it beautifully.

So now we shall eat our melon in style.
