leaf study

I've started a new series I'm calling leaf studies. Each day I choose a leaf from my collection, blind contour draw the outline, fill in with contour drawing, I make notes on how it goes, how I feel, and any (interesting) thoughts that might occur to me during the drawing. Next, I choose a piece of cloth and make a composition using the same leaf , then I add stitching.
