A Sad Picture?

Is this a sad picture or is Bud quite happy with his ball whilst Poppy plays with her friends Bailey and Freddie? I can't quite make up my mind, he does love his ball and as soon as I had finished taking photos I played with him, but then he does love it if another dog plays chase with him. The 3 blondies were happy with each others company and didn't need him to join in. I must find a small dog to walk with us for a change. It is always easy to find large dogs to walk with but not small dogs, small dog owners seem to prefer to walk on their own or is this too much of a generalisation?
