Home

The GOG telephoned me this morning to say that he would be allowed home on Wednesday. When I arrived this afternoon he said it might even be Tuesday. Half an hour later, his nurse asked me how I felt about taking him home today. They felt he would get better quicker at home with decent food and a better night’s sleep. It took about four hours to get his medication from the pharmacy and his discharger letter, but he is now home and has had his supper.

I took this rather grainy picture of a Reeves Muntjac quite early this morning, through the kitchen window and over by our boundary, some thirty or so metres away; I thought he might like to see it from his hospital bed!
