Gulfstream IV

Found this little beauty sitting on the apron at Prestwick tonight. A Gulfstream IV capable of carrying 12 passengers at 550 mph for 4,987 miles at an altitude of 45,000 feet.

N71NE was built in 1992 and refurbished in 2008. She is operated by Pegasus Elite Aviation of Los Angeles.

I rather like the foil curtains in the North facing cockpit. Seems that this pilot does not fly into Prestwick in October very often. Not much chance of the sun heating things up today.
