Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe

One of the biggest events in the racing calendar, me and Charlie rocked up a few races in, feeling a little battered after wandering around art installations into the small hours. We were slightly too excited upon spotting Clare Balding, what a long time out of England does to you. We also carried small Union Flags around, a beacon of home? Or was that Le Pub and the English and Irish people everywhere! But horse racing is one of our national passions so was to be expected. A sea of tweed, I've missed tweed. To top of the electric atmosphere of the big race I had the winner! Treve, was brilliant fun and managed to win myself a few euros so all in all a great Sunday. PS the flat peak really does suit Charlie, farmer chic.
