Cistern

The Byzantine cistern under Sultanahmet. Somewhere I've missed on previous trips to Istanbul.

It's been a pretty amazing and full on day. We were treated to a quick whistlestop tour of the sights (Blue Mosque, Ayasofia) this morning, followed by lunch near Taksim Square, a conference all afternoon, plus dinner in a restaurant right on the Bosphorus this evening.

And now I have to get up tomorrow at 5.30am to get my flight (3.30am UK time).

So I'd better get some sleep.
