A bench with a view

I did an RPS course in Greenwich today about diptychs, triptychs and typography. The idea behind the diptychs and triptychs is that you can juxtapose 2 or 3 photos to tell a story or to bring out meaning that can't be achieved in one image. And typography is where you shoot a collection of, say, 9 images of the same sort of thing, to bring out the similarities and differences. The Bechers' collections of German water towers is the classic example. So I was wandering round Greenwich Park this afternoon trying to take collections of images, but, being a landscape photographer at heart, I kept being distracted, such as by this lovely framed view of the Shard and Telecom Tower :-))
