Lillies

A famous Oxford chap called John Ruskin said that the most beautiful things in the world are the most useless, citing lillies (and peacocks). But actually the loveliness of these flowers gave us great happiness, as did the act of receiving them, out of the blue, from our fab friends Suzy & Philippe - so rather useful wouldn't you say?
