There is an old railroad roundhouse at Two Harbors, along the north shore of Lake Superior. Long closed and mostly boarded up, the space had been vacant for a couple of decade, which left the local hoodlums and high schoolers free reign to modify the walls.

This building is being torn down as we speak, and all of this graphic art will be lost in the dirt and dust, buried underneath some new park or visitors center. Progress I guess, but while we had it, it was an extraordinary outlaw gallery of wild and exuberant expressions. Isn't that art?
