Beach

11.8C with bright spells and occasional squally showers. Windy.

Maeve the Deerhound and I had our usual walk after lunch. Down on the beach the tide was out. The rocks have lots of seaweed on them and there are piles seaweed on the beach too from the recent high tides.

It looks like 'Valhalla VI' might be stuck in the deep soft sand. The trailer has old corrugated iron under the wheels and it has been left on the beach near one of the breaks in the little dune line where the tractors go up and down to the water.

The creel rack is packed with all the gear that 'Shamara II' uses at sea. The small boats are all gathered up near the Fishermen's huts. Autumn is very firmly with us.
