In the teeth of the gale

I went to take a nice shot of the harbour at Thurso but found I couldn't open my car doors and the car was in danger of being blown away!

When I got home and saw the few I had taken through the windows between the rain and the wipers I realised this had birds in as well as the wave breaking in the reef edge in the bay!

No going out for me tonight.
