Westerly

The lunchtime of shopping was good to the extent that it had a purpose but it was a little spoiled by the fact that I wasn't buying toys for me but toys for a soon-to-be-10-year-old. Still, was fun finding silly things.

The combination of very low sun and a stiff, wobble-inducing westerly wind made it worth avoiding the main road and riding illegally on the footpath instead. An easy answer to the question, "shall I ride illegally on this pavement or risk having a lorry drive over the top of me because he was blinded by the sun". So pavement it was and then a bumpy ride along the rubbish "path" along the shore. A wee diversion down to the boats and then home.
