Gert

Gert is the current manager of moving company Kattenberg: a real family owned business of more than 100 years old.
It was great talking to him today about his work and his passions. He's not only interested in the technical and business side of his company, he's also a real people-person that loves all the stories behind people moving, which can be surprising, funny, sad and eh… moving… They've even got a section on their website for these stories. I shot this portrait of him in his classic DAF truck that he still drives a lot. Not only to truck meetings but occasionally even to do the real work...
