View from a bridge

Drove south from Stowe to Manchester, Vermont today. Fortunately, it was me navigating, or we might have ended up in Manchester, New Hampshire. The colours of the trees were amazing, and after a frosty start the day was glorious, sunny and warm. We saw some more covered bridges on the way but rather than Blip another photo of one, this is from the inside of a bridge, looking out. From the information board on this bridge I discovered a bit more about why they were built this way; apparently it's not just to keep the snow off, but originally it was so the horses didn't get spooked crossing the river.
