Rocking Socs Fair

Mahfood and I look very dopey in this photo but hey. Quick shot taken to promote our PhotoSoc stand at the Societies Fair today. Shane and me spray painted the photosoc board last night in the parking lot to have it ready on time!

Freshers and older students were streaming by all day. I had some URSS deadlines to adhere to so I sat on the ground behind our table for a while working on that but managed to put in a few hours of promoting the society as well along with the others! Always brilliant to see students who have actively sought out our stand to join! Wasn't hard to find us with Andy occasionally shouting out slogans like "Who's likes taking photos?" or simply "PHOTOSOC!!". All in all, it was good fun and our whole exec participated which is always sick. Good job team!

Oh yeah, there was a fire alarm halfway through the afternoon. Everybody scrammed and we had to collect up all the cameras and other kit before getting out of there. Turns out there was some sort of bomb scare up at the tennis centre in Westwood...
It gave me a chance to see my man Richie though, who's back from a sick-sounding year in France. After the fair, we all got together at Terrace bar for a well deserved drink.

Back in leam, we decided to hit up Moo Bar. Anu invited over Anna and Caitlin, and the bunch of us with Mahfood and Eve had some drinks before heading there to dance to some old school beats and classics. Great night, and I was exhausted by the end of it!
