One step at a time!

A view of Cheshire from Wales

There's a lot going on in this image.

Farmer's fields in the foreground - just out of shot the farmer was very busy, with tractors and machines tearing around the field.

In the middle of the shot is the Airbus factory at Broughton near Chester. The factory is split in half by the runway at Hawarden airport. The main factory is to the right and the part I visited the other week where the Airbus wings are manufactured is to the left (much hidden by the trees).

In the middle of the shot are some 1960's concrete high rise flats situated in Blacon a suburb of Chester. Away to the left of these you may be able to just make out the chimneys of the chemical works at Runcorn.

On the horizon, where the ground steeply rises to the right are the Helsby Hills near Frodsham.

Here endeth the tour of this corner of Cheshire :-)

It may be easier to look large or press L.
