Danny Elfman

Tonight was incredible! Danny Elfman’s music from the films of Tim Burton performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra at the Hydro.

Firstly the Orchestra was amazing. Note perfect (as you would expect) and just brilliant!

Secondly, we were treated to a very special guest – Danny Elfman himself! Wow! He sang several of the songs from Nightmare Before Christmas, he was actually the singing voice of Jack from the film (I hadn’t realised this until tonight!). He was just brilliant and sang with such enthusiasm and passion.
