17mph

My cycle to work this morning was more eventful than normal. First, I came across a motorcyclist who had either fallen off or had a collision with the truck that was stopped opposite him. He was sitting upright at the edge of the road and didn't appear to have be seriously injured. The two men from the truck (I assume) were tending to him and checking his bike.

Then, my front gear cable snapped when shifting up to the big ring :-( Not a major problem but quite annoying when I came to ride home, since it's predominantly downhill, and I was limited to about 22mph before my legs started to spin like crazy.
