Spring Pinoaks

See LARGE.

A group of us go walking for an hour a few days a week - just to keep everything moving and functioning. Mostly we tramp the residential avenues of Blackheath and at this time of year the vegetation can be quite extraordinary.

As one rounds the corner of Prince George and Wentworth Streets, one gets a full blast of the morning sun filtering through the bright, freshly emerged leaves of spring. Here, pinoak branches bridge the street and the effect is quite magical.
