Extreme street cleaning......

.....obviously the North Tyneside Council team is already in training for the next Winter Olympics then.....but personally I think they were just out for a joy ride though, they did the same stretch at least three times (that I saw, and who knows how long they'd been down there before I arrived) before doing a victory lap of the paddling pool.......
