THE ALHAMBRA, BRADFORD

Named after, and built in the style of the Alhambra in Granada, Spain, the Alhambra theatre is one of the jewels in Bradford’s crown. This is a side view, showing the exit and stage doors. A front view was blipped here on 13 June 2013. Currently the theatre is preparing to present that wonderful show ‘War Horse’ which has now been running for many, many months to packed audiences. . The large but much less flamboyant and rather nondescript building opposite housed the former Thomas Cook offices.
