Dilemma

Tough choice to make this morning, meet my friends for breakfast, or take up Mr J's generous invitation to help him put new gravel on the drive, in torrential rain.....

Walking home last night after school we found one of H's friends upset because her mum hadn't come to meet her. She should've been notified by text that an activity had been cancelled, but she hadn't received it. We walked her back to school and got their teacher to ring home, then we waited with her in reception. Today they've made us cakes and sent a card to say thank you.
