Transatlantic Sessions 6 from BBC4

A long but safe journey to Edinburgh today. Remarkably smooth and straightforward too, no hold ups, jams or roadworks. Left Kent at 09.40 and arrived in Edinburgh 448 miles later at 18.20. Almost pleasant. Sitting in Barbara and David's lounge watching Transatlantic Sessions 6. We saw them live in February at the Royal Festival Hall. I posted an image from inside the Hall at the time. Transatlantic Sessions is a superb programme, full of superb musicians from Scotland, Ireland and the USA. This shot has James Mackintosh (percussion) Danny Thompson (double bass) Jerry Douglas (doblero- from Union Station and Alison Krauss) Michael McGoldrick ( pipes and whistles) and John McCusker (fiddle) Look them up and listen to their music. TA4 is really good.
