fuyu

My mother-in-law grows Fuyu persimmons in her backyard. Every fall she brings bagful after bagful of the crunchy fruit for us to enjoy - or I should say for ME to enjoy because my wife and children don't like persimmons. It's a delicious sweet fruit, but I do have to admit I am a bit relieved when the season ends because I have a tough time eating them fast enough to keep up with her generosity.
