Tibet visits Whitby

Seven exiled Tibetan monks from the Tashi Lhunpo monastery in southern India returned to Whitby. Organised by Musicport as a free pre-festival show, it was staged at the Brunswick Centre, an old church whose acoustics were well suited to the sonorous incantations and various brass and percussion instruments.
