TRAWLING THE HIGH STREET

We visited the High Street today where there are coming on for 10 Charity shops and an almost equal number of closed and dilapidated premises plus what used to be a Woolworths Store hosting mini outlets and a couple or so of significant National Chain Sores some some pubs and spectacle shops etc----so OK it's not looking good except for a few brave entrepreneurs at either end. But fear not it has had its surface relaid in swanky brick (allegedly imported from China) and the local paper announces £1 million pound boost for such as 'digital signage, wi-fi, and lighting up historical buildings across the town centre etc as was done in a town nearby.
Ye Gods - CANUTE LIVES AGAIN!
However in the second Charity shop we found a nice dish for a couple of pounds which makes a fine picture and so another, and this time unadulterated, monochrome is published. I feel this should be Friday - never mind!
