Orford Ness with the Quay in the Background.

LARGE

We're having a few days away in Suffolk, so hopefully I'll be able to get some different pictures.

Today's picture is Orford Ness - a foreland shingle spit on the Suffolk coast linked to the mainland at Aldeburgh. It is divided from the mainland by the River Alde, and was formed by longshore drift along the coast.

The wi-fi is rather slow, so if I don't get round to commenting much, I'll catch up next week.
