Big Day

Full day at the conference, and look what we got in our goodie bag.

However, more interestingly today I had a disposable camera as part of the When you're a stranger project. I was spoilt for choice at the conference as I was amongst many greats in the world of open water swimming. In the end I decided to go for a photo of the amazing young Canadian girl, Anneleise Carr. Anneliese swam 52km across Lake Ontario in 27 hours earlier this year. In so doing she raised over $250,000 for her chosen charity, Camp Trillium, a childhood cancer support centre. Respect!

Annaleise was one of the swimmers who enjoyed our pre-dawn swim in Myrtleville yesterday.
