17th floor view

Edmonton Green tower blocks are ugly from the outside, but the view from the 17th floor is breathtaking.  The road called Church Street leading under the railway bridge has much of interest to the historian.  Charles Lamb is buried in the church (see insert) and John Keats, the poet served an apprenticeship in a house which once occupied the site by the obvious white van.  This picture was taken through a large grubby pane of glass but iis pleasingly clear, even in LARGE
