Push on.

8:30am and heading for school with the weeWeir.

As I've been taking her down this week (since Tuesday), it's been cycling everyday. Which is cool with me.

Cooler this morning again (nice chilly easterly headwind) so the non-matching, non-cycling gloves came out.

Still, a good day:

Mrs theWeir and I got remarkably decent sleep following the arrival home from hospital of the wee-estWeir. He was pretty settled and quite relaxed.

We took the chance to have a quiet morning (light washing and gentle organising) as it was Mrs theWeir's birthday. Then out for a tasty lunch at the KCC café, quick supermarket sweep and on to pick up the weeWeir from school.

The car park was mental with traffic and slow escapes so with an impending home visit from a community midwife, it was quicker to walk home. Which we did. Impressive for the third-day after a Caesarean section. I think my wife is Wonder Woman.

Home right on cue and all is well. Birthday shenanigans, cake and family Newsroom catchup and that was that.

The volume of stuff done was remarkable.
