Still a moving camera

It is a remarkable diffrence in relating to subjects from the intimate shooting distance a DSLR gives. I find I level in a way impossible from behing the viewfinder of a videocamera small or large as the packground only blurs when I am several feet away and zoomed in.
In the process the close conversation distance is lost and we have "roles" instead as cameraman and object.
This configuration is made up with a viewfinder -attatchment from my old Rolleiflex 6008 2 1/4 giving excellent focuscontrol and a balanced XLR 2x Juiced Link 231 giving a mixed signal to be fed to the Mark 2 unbalanced minijackinput. The result is low noise and a professinal signal to be tuned in postproduction.
Short dept of field and a tremendous quality are the greatest assets.
In controlled and well planned shooting conditions with mostly stationary objects this is a perfect hi-end filmcamera.
